A community-LED FUND

TO end ALS.

als super fund

our enginefor change

Led by ALS Action Canada and guided by an expert Advisory Council, the ALS Super Fund mobilizes and convenes people, communities, and organizations to raise awareness about and fund the most innovative work in advancing care, treatment, trials and research toward ending ALS in North America.

Uniting forces to end als

The ALS Super Fund is a cause fund, an effective giving  strategy to fuel efforts towards a common goal, like ending ALS.

Led by ALS Action Canada, the Super Fund is guided by a unique Advisory Council comprised of ALS experts and those with lived experience, and works in collaboration with ALS organizations across North America. The Super Fund is hosted by Charitable Impact, a giving platform.

Together, we raise and direct funds toward projects in Canada and the United States that will have meaningful impact and work to ensure that policy and research decisions in North America reflect the voices and perspectives of those most affected by ALS.

This inclusive and collaborative approach works to advance research and ensure that all people impacted by ALS have equitable access to care, treatments, and trials as we urgently pursue an end to the disease.

OUR PRIORITIES

Our funding priorities include:

  • Raising patient and caregiver voices in care, treatment, trials, research and public policy in Canada
  • Invest in innovative research across North America to better understand and manage the disease
  • Advance swift and equitable access to care, treatments and trials for people in Canada, and across North America through our partnerships
